Sea Kayaking Ireland Courses

Paddle Power for Beginners
Between March and September we run sea kayak sessions in the evenings. Ideal for complete beginners it is a chance to learn some new skills, talk to the seal pups swimming beside your boat and see Strangford Lough in all its beauty as the sun goes down on Castle Ward estate.

Improvers Paddle Power
For those with that little bit of experience try out our range of modern crafts on the water and progress your skills to the next level under the guidance of our expert coaches. The opportunity to obtain BCU proficiency star awards will exist on the day.

Sea Kayak Navigation
A practical day of trip planning and navigational skills training - all the components to be able to plan and undertake coastal trips. Based at our Strangford Lough Centre, this course provides an ideal opportunity to discover the 120 islands of the Lough, whilst also taking time to enjoy the abundance of flora and fauna. Clearsky Adventure Centre is a British Canoe Union approved centre, we offer an extensive range of coach and skill education courses and provide the highest level of training possible across the board.
