Salt Island Bothy Experience - Accessed from centre via canoe, kayak or RIB speed boat
What better way to finish off a day of activities than canoeing across Strangford Lough to your very own remote uninhabited salt island and bothy accommodation. This may be back to basics but it is an experience not to be missed! Sleeps up to 15 people and again there is camp site which can accommodate up to 12 tents (we have tents and sleeping bags you can hire). Costs from just £5 per person per night for bothy. Our NEW on-site Forest Bunkhouse & Camp Site (Catered or self catering options available)
This facility is situated beside our centre in a forest setting with stunning views over Castle Ward estate and Strangford Lough. The bunkhouse can sleep up to 14 people and then the linked camp site has room for up to 12 tents (we have tents and sleeping bags for hire at the centre). There are electric power showers and toilets with disability access, and the traditional building is equipped with modern facilities including underfloor heating, fully equipped kitchen, gear drying room and open log fire. Our bunkhouse can be booked in combination with camp site, making it ideal for larger groups also. Costs from just £5 per person per night. Catering is provided at extra charge.
Barholm Hostel & Self Catering Accommodation (Catered or self catering options available) - Accessed from centre via our water taxi boat
Our comfortable accommodation block can sleep up to 47 people, split across 13 rooms (some of the rooms are en-suite). Barholm has the comforts of home, with a spectacular view across the Strangford Lough Narrows. A broad range of catering options are available on-site to suit varying tastes and budgets. Costs from only £12 per person per night.
The Cuan Licensed Guest Inn
Licensed Guest Inn in Strangford Village with 9 nicely furnished ensuite rooms. Superb local Seafood dishes are also available in the restaurant. Bed & Breakfast accommodation is priced from £35.00 per person per night.
Slieve Moyle Cottage Self Catering Cottages
4* Self Catering Cottages - these cottages ooze with character and are only 5 minutes from our centre! 4 cottages sleeping up to 21 people. Prices from £20 per person self catering per night.
